Our Early Literacy Kits are designed to help parents, guardians, and childcare providers support their children’s early literacy through meaningful interactions.
Themes range from the every day, like Things That Go, to the complex, like Grief & Death. The mix of materials in each kit ensures that there will be items of interest for children up to the age of 5.
Each Early Literacy Kit follows a theme and includes:
- Books.
- A puppet.
- A felt board and felt board story.
- A puzzle or educational toy.
- Craft and snack ideas.

Our Wildfire Resiliency Kits were created in partnership with FireSmart™ BC!
Wildfires are a real concern for our region. It is likely that many children in our communities will be directly or indirectly impacted by wildfires. We hope that this kit will help children to be better prepared if they do experience a wildfire.
Each kit includes:
- 10 books.
- An Ember Memory Game.
- A puzzle.
- An Ember Plush.
- A booklet of activities about how to be FireSmart.
