Interlibrary Loans are requests for titles not available in our system. If TNRL does not own a book or article that you want, we can request the item from another library in the province or country. This is typically a free service. We will notify you of any cost before ordering the item.
There is a limit of six simultaneous Interlibrary Loan requests per person. Delivery can take 2-8 weeks and the loan period is 2 weeks. Renewals may be available. Please note that only books and articles can be borrowed by Interlibrary Loan (no DVDs, CD or other media).
You can search ahead to see if the title is available using the websites below.
Once you have found the title you are searching for, contact us to request your Interlibrary Loan.
