Community Income Tax volunteers help with tax returns at TNRL locations

Who loves doing their taxes? Not us! But it can be made a lost easier with the the help of volunteers from the Government of Canada’s Free Tax Clinics program.

Community Income Tax Volunteers will be visiting TNRL locations in Ashcroft, Cache Creek, Clinton and Savona to help qualifying residents prepare tax returns.

This free service is available to any single person with a net income of less than $35,000 per year, or to families who jointly earn less than $45,000 per year net. It is intended to help people with relatively basic tax returns.

To get help with your tax returns bring all relevant paperwork to one of the following TNR libraries at the below dates and times:

  • Ashcroft Library: Tuesdays from 12:00-2:30pm, starting March 2 and ending May 4. By appointment only. To book contact Dave at 250-457-0491 Monday-Friday 9am-4pm.
  • Cache Creek Library: Wednesdays 1:30-3:30pm starting March 3 and ending April 28. By appointment only. To book contact Dave at 250-457-0491 Monday-Friday 9am-4pm.
  • Clinton LibraryBy appointment only. Contact Yvette at 250-459-7725 to book. Appointments starting March 2 and ending April 29.
  • Savona Library: Drop off paperwork during library hours,  starting March 3 and ending April 30.
