With summer around the corner, it’s the perfect time learn about the invasive plants popping up around the region. And for the next couple of months, you can do just that while visiting the Mobile Library!
We are excited to share that the TNRD’s Invasive Plant Education and Outreach team will be on board the Mobile Library on select dates through June and July to share invasive plant knowledge with our community.
The next time you’re visiting the Mobile Library, look out for one of the friendly Invasive Plant Education and Outreach team members to:
- Learn about invasive plants threatening our local ecosystem
- Identify a plant you suspect might be invasive
- Discover local invasive plant resources
- Check out resin samples of local area plants and an interactive game for kids.
