This is the incredible true story of Raina Telgemeier and her story of trying to achieve her own perfect smile.
This story is absolute perfection! It is bright and colorful, it has a lot of funny moments, and it perfectly captures all the drama and insanity that occurs in secondary school. Smile has really stuck with me because like Raina Telgemeier, my smile is far from perfect. This book helped me learn to accept myself for what I am, and shows that sometimes achieving the best smile isn’t easy. It takes time and work, but in the end, it is always worth it. So if you’re looking for a little encouragement or a book full of humor, drama, and awesome looking art, I strongly recommend this incredible comic book!
