- paint (colour of your choice)
Take your piece of paper and pencil. Draw an outline of the dinosaur foot you want.
Make sure to leave room at the top to cut a hole so your foot can slip the dinosaur foot on.
Paint your cut outs the desired colour of your dinosaur. Nicola painted hers green with yellow accents! Allow your dinosaur feet to dry.
Cut out the outline you made for your dinosaur feet!
Slip them on your feet and enjoy your new feet!
- paper towel roll
Start by drawing out an outline of footprints and a tail.
Or you can use this template, originally from Conservamome.com!
Colour in those outlines with the desired colour you want your dinosaur to be. Nicola chose for her dinosaur to be purple!
Now it is time to cut out the foot and tail outlines you made.
Once you have the body, legs and tail cut out, begin by wrapping the body around the paper towel roll. It may be helpful to bend the legs out of the way while you do this.
Once you are happy with the placement, glue the body to the paper towel roll.
Once the body is attached, it is now time to attach the head and tail to the paper towel roll. You can simply glue the tail on the back of the roll.
To attach the head, we cut a small slit from the bottom of the neck, and then glued one flap onto the roll on each side of the neck. This way, the head stands up straight!
The final step is to glue on googly eyes or draw them on with marker.
Voila, you have your very own dinosaur!
