Books and programs and kits, oh my!
Head to your local library branch this spring break to take advantage of all the science-y fun happening this year!
STEM Building Contest
Add some science fun into Spring Break with the TNRL STEM Challenge!
Using whatever materials available at home, children between the ages of 6 and 12 can show off their STEM skills by making a STEM related craft over Spring Break.
Popsicle sticks, paper cups, cardboard, playing cards, blocks or straws – the possibilities are endless!
Once the structure is complete, simply snap a photo and fill in the online entry form for a chance to win a STEM prize!
Contest runs from March 18 to April 8.
STEM Kits
To extend the STEM fun further into Spring Break, families can also pick up a STEM Kit from their local library during spring break, with take home activities and a science book to borrow! While supplies last.
