Tech Tuesday: Learn to Code!

Code.org offers free computer science courses aimed at students in Kindergarten through Grade 12. Younger students can learn basic coding and create drawings and games with simple drag & drop blocks. Older students can learn how to design an app with JavaScript, create simple web pages using HTML and CSS, and make games with characters that run, jump, and fly.

You can also explore other students’ projects on the Public Projects page, as well as remix them to spin-off your own version. Post your own projects for others to enjoy!

If you don’t have a lot of time, try one of the Hour of Code activities. These one-hour tutorials will teach you how to code your own dance party, learn about artificial intelligence, create your own app, journey through Minecraft, and more!
