To catch the Storytime, head to Facebook after 10:30am on March 5th.
Materials:
- Coloured paper: 4 to 5 sheets of various colours
- Scissors
- Glue stick
- Marker
Instructions:
Step 1: The first step is to cut out your colourful shapes! Save one sheet of paper as your background to glue your shapes to. To make the shape train, you will need to cut out:
- 2 large circles
- 1 small circle
- 1 large rectangle
- 1 small rectangle
- 1 square
- 1 triangle
You can use this photo as reference for the size of your shapes.
Step 2: Once you have your shapes cut out, go ahead and use your marker to draw a train track. You can now start gluing on your shapes to make your train!
Bonus Activity: You can easily modify this craft! Cut out different shapes and see what sort of image you can create. Be creative! Try making a dinosaur, a house, or your favourite animal.
