Make the Craft

Materials:
- Paper Plate
- 12 Toothpicks (or more if you'd like)
- Paint or Markers
- Googly Eyes
- Paper or foam for fins
- White glue and/or tape
Instructions:
Step 1: Decorate the paper plate with paint or markers. Add any decorations you may have around the house, such as stickers or stamps.

Step 2: Glue on the googly eyes.

Step 3: Cut or break your toothpicks in half.

Step 4: Glue or tape the toothpicks onto your pufferfish, making it as spiky as you’d like.

Step 5: Cut out 2 fin shapes from paper or foam. -they can be as simple as a fan shape. Then tape them to the back of the plate.

Let the glue dry, and you’re all done!

Bonus Activity:
Sea Monkey and Bob talk a lot about floating and sinking! You can explore this concept with a fun game for your child. Gather an assortment of toys and small objects, and a large bowl of water. Have your child guess if an object will sink or float, and then test it out!
