#Staffpick: The Unteachables by Gordon Korman

The Unteachables will keep you interested from beginning to end. Mr. Kermit, a middle school teacher at Greenwich has almost reached retirement, something he has been dreaming about for a long time! He is so excited about it in fact he has resorted to simply handing out worksheets (that he never looks at) to his students while he sits at the front and does crossword puzzles. When he receives word that he has been assigned to the Unteachables class he doesn’t see any reason to change his method. The Unteachables, however, have never had a teacher simply not care before. Teachers have always looked only at their behaviours and never actually took an interest into who they were. When the two come together troubles arise, disaster occurs but most importantly lessons are learned!
