There’s always something fun happening at the Barriere Library, but it was an extra exciting night when they hosted their very first Nerf Battle in the Library Stacks!
It likely won’t be the last time the library team brings out the Nerf gear, as everyone who came out had a blast.
After a warm-up obstacle course, there were challenges to hit moving and stationary targets, freeze tag and a version of an old-fashioned standoff, then finally capture the flag.
Capture the flag was the favourite by far, and it was fun to celebrate victory with the teams.
Parents took refuge in the “safe” zone in our program room, where they could watch the action through the window.
A big thanks to all of our patrons for their great participation in this epic battle!
