We were joined by the Thompson Nicola Invasive Plant Management Committee twice last month to learn all about invasive plants. Lauren, who did the Kids Talk, told us all about what they are, why they’re bad, and what you can do about it. Cassie, who did the Teen Talk, elaborated a little more on the science of invasive plants and our methods of controlling them.
The Kids Talk included a fun video about invasive plants. It’s the first in a series of videos following the adventures of two children trying to stop invasive plants. It has the cutest animated characters! Watch all three videos here:
