
Library Takeout lets you pick up your orders from your local branch. Your item(s) will be checked out, packed up and ready to go at your agreed upon appointment time.

- Place holds using our catalogue OR Request Personal Picks.
- Wait for a notification that your requested item(s) are ready via email or by phone.
- Schedule with your library an appointment time to pick up your ‘takeout’.

Library Takeout Frequently Asked Questions
Place holds on any item you would like through our catalogue. If you don’t know what you want, request a Personal Picks Order. You can also call your branch and staff will be happy to help you place holds or choose items. When your order is ready for pick up you will be notified. Call or email your branch to arrange an appointment to pick up your Library Takeout.

When you arrive at your branch for your appointment, let the staff know you are there to pickup Library Takeout.
Yes. You can designate another person to pick your holds up. Just let a staff member know who will be picking up the items when you set your appointment.
Holds will be kept for 7 days. If you need more time to pick up your holds please speak to a staff member.
Our bookdrops are open. Please return material at any of our libraries.
