In January 2022, the TNRL announced the launch of a new pilot program, Interior Savings Internet to Go kits. The Interior Savings Internet to Go kits have been made available thanks to a donation from Interior Savings Credit Union, to help in the flood recovery efforts in the area.
Chromebook laptops and Kajeet hotspot devices are available on a first-come, first-serve basis, for a period of up to six weeks.
Residents looking to borrow an Interior Savings Internet to Go kit can apply in-person at select Resiliency Centres, as well as through Kamloops Immigrant Services and Kamloops Partner Assisted Living (KPAL).
Each kit includes:
- 1 Chromebook laptop
- 1 Kajeet hotspot device
